your county flexible pricing options so that
CoronerBase's robust software and comprehensive
service can become affordable for even the smallest
Coroner's office with the most modest of budgets.
One of the
ways we accommodate your varying financial needs is to
offer single-computer and unlimited
multi-user network installations. If your
county is medium or large, and your office has
multiple employees
that need to access the system, then a multi-user
installation is a terrific fit. However, if your
county is particularly small, and does not have a very
large budget, then the single-computer installation
makes the most sense, being the type
of installation designed for small counties with more
modest budgets.
We also
offer extremely affordable government leasing terms
(for either type of installation) to allow you to spread
your investment in CoronerBase across several years
worth of budgets, making it highly affordable
year-to-year, and therefore potentially easier to get
sanctioned by county administrators. Our leasing
terms are offered through our leasing partner, VAResources,
who has years of experience in government leases.
Best of all, you don't have to worry about approval,
since government offices at any level are already pre-approved!
To mitigate
the costs of upgrading to the newer versions and
various program updates for CoronerBase that will be
available over the coming years, we also offer an
optional maintenance plan at just 15% of the purchase
price per year, which is a 16% annual savings from
the industry average percentage for software product
maintenance plans. Since the average life cycle
of computer hardware and software is only 3 to 5
years, after which new systems are usually employed, our
maintenance plan can save you up to 55% from
purchasing new systems every few years, keeping the total
cost of ownership low. However, if you prefer,
you may also choose not to sign up for
the maintenance plan, and then choose when you want
to upgrade to the latest version. Customers
not on the maintenance plan will be able to upgrade at
a discount, which will vary from 50% to 10% off of the
purchase price, depending on how old your current
version is. Please note that all
customers are automatically enrolled in the
maintenance plan for a period of one year from the
point of purchase at no cost, and with no further obligation,
allowing you to get free updates for one full
year. Once the free maintenance year has
expired, you may then choose whether or not you wish
to re-enroll in the maintenance plan for
subsequent year(s). Please
also note that the maintenance plan is not a technical
support plan, but an upgrade subscription plan...
technical support is always free!
Further, if
you've recently purchased a competing product, we are
able to offer you generous competitive upgrade
pricing so you won't have to pay for two full
systems... in fact, our goal is to simply supplant,
dollar for dollar, the cost of your existing system,
so as to make the financial impact as if you had
